Being close to the sea is my lifeline. My mountain is curly waves and deep blue. Every time I sleep, I swim, I give my body to the ocean, surrender to its currents. Together, we float. We become one, wet movement, the sea and I, we stretch around the planet and carefully touch the ground. Together, we hold so much. Together, we bear witness to everything, for we are the clouds and the rain, we are the morning dew and the damp fog, we are the mystery wrapped around you every day. The sea. I hold my breath and keep my head under. The mystery, the sea. The lifeline.
This is a calling to slow down and listen. To take a deep breath and explore our personal connection with Mother Earth. The feminine and masculine, the beautiful and dirty, the real, the messy, the sacred. Once it was natural. Today it feels crucial.
For the next 100 Days I will write a book to the Earth. For the Earth. With the Earth. The book, and the journey, is also to you. For you. And with you. Together, we are everything.
