You are nature. You have never been anything else. Never separated from nature, never a stranger to nature. You and nature are the same. Naturally natural. Expressed in human form. As you move around, nature expresses itself through you. As you.
You can think what you want about it. You can forget it, get lost in your thoughts, mistake your understanding of reality with reality. You are still nature.
You can deny it. You can hide behind theories and constructs, you can build cities and fences, you can chop down trees and pollute the rivers, you can remove mountain tops and fill the atmosphere with poison. You are still nature.
You can believe in an external God. You can call him all sorts of things. You can claim the only way to forgiveness from being born a sinner is to follow a set of rules given to you by a man you claim is closer to heaven than you are. You can pray for love, you can hope for Nirvana, you can devote yourself to reason. You can meditate at night or whip your back in the morning. You are still nature.
You have never been separated. Not from nature, not from me. You and I are the same. Naturally natural. You are nature.
This is a calling to slow down and listen. To take a deep breath and explore our personal connection with Mother Earth. The feminine and masculine, the beautiful and dirty, the real, the messy, the sacred. Once it was natural. Today it feels crucial.
For the next 100 Days I will write a book to the Earth. For the Earth. With the Earth. The book, and the journey, is also to you. For you. And with you. Together, we are everything.
