Day 37 - 100 Days #FortheEarth

Those who once found the hippies to be naive are about to choke on their sherry. They won't know what hit them, but only for a little while, only until they start recognizing how good it feels to be loved. A revolution is coming. It is near. In fact, it is already here. A quiet revolution this time, a warm one, a compassionate one, a human one. A natural revolution. Not too early and not too late.

You can't stop an idea whose time has come. This is the time for radical self-acceptance. For looking at ourselves with endlessly empathic eyes – this is the time for saying loudly and clearly that it is enough.

What is enough? The idea that we are not enough. That we are sinners and failures and fuckups and loosers. That we are dirty and wrong and stupid and ugly. That something inside of us, something basic and innate, is not right. That we have left the garden of eden, that we have fallen grace, that we have distanced ourselves from nature and everything natural. The idea that we are not enough.

So I turn to myself and I give myself all the love that I have. I have so much! I am so much! And I love it all. Right now, right here, I love it all.

A quiet revolution this time. And the time is now.

Love. Love. Love.

This is a calling to slow down and listen. To take a deep breath and explore our personal connection with Mother Earth. The feminine and masculine, the beautiful and dirty, the real, the messy, the sacred. Once it was natural. Today it feels crucial.

For the next 100 Days I will write a book to the Earth. For the Earth. With the Earth. The book, and the journey, is also to you. For you. And with you. Together, we are everything.

Use #FortheEarth to share and, please, add your story.

Love, Åsmund.
